The Lochaber area has been described by some as a fishing heaven and this can probably be justified by some of the large salmon, trout and ferox trout which have been caught in the lochs and rivers over the years.  In the introduction page you will see some examples.

This part of the west of Scotland is famous for its wild and rugged landscape and much of the fishing is to be found amongst the most beautiful and untouched countryside in Britain. The scenery in this area has been immortalised in films made on location here like Highlander, Brave Heart, Rob Roy and Harry Potter.
